to opportunity
COMING SOON
“You see, it’s never the environment; it’s never the events of our lives,
but the meaning we attach to the events – how we interpret them – that shapes who we are today
and who we’ll become tomorrow.” Tony Robbins
Thanks to my new friend Connie, I’ve decided to leave the above “Coming Soon” sign as is. For the reason why, read Connie’s blog below.
On Pam Kruger’s website, I clicked on the link “Silver Lining Success,
” fully expecting stories of people who have battled through troubles and discovered unexpected gifts and treasures. Instead I found a brief message, “Turing adversity into opportunity: COMING SOON,” and a photo of sunlight transforming the edges of dark clouds into shining strips. Even so the simple words “Coming Soon” ministered hope. “Coming Soon” is a hope-filled message for the journey. When we’re going through the storms of life, we need this hope. When we’re still living the story and haven’t yet reached a resolution stage, we need to remember God is at work. God is faithful. God gives good gifts
to his children. When God allows dark clouds to obscure the sun for a time, we can be sure there are blessings
to come. Dark clouds cannot completely hide the shining light of God’s love at work in our lives. If we haven’t seen them yet, God’s shining silver linings are coming soon for his beloved children. Maranatha. During life’s stormy times, what messages give you hope?

Potatoes, Eggs and Coffee
Turning to her, he asked, “Daughter, what do you see?”
The potato went in strong, hard and unrelenting, but in boiling water it became soft and weak. The egg was fragile with the thin outer shell protecting its liquid interior until it was put in the boiling water. Then the inside of the egg became hard.

Do It Anyway
People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.
LOVE THEM ANYWAY.
If you do good, people accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
DO GOOD ANYWAY.
If you are successful, you win false and true enemies.
SUCCEED ANYWAY.
The good you do will be forgotten tomorrow.
DO GOOD ANYWAY.
Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
BE HONEST AND FRANK ANYWAY.
What you spent years building may be destroyed overnight.
BUILD ANYWAY.
People really need help but may attack you if you help them.
HELP PEOPLE ANYWAY.
Give the world the best you have and you’ll get kicked in the teeth.
GIVE THE WORLD THE BEST YOU’VE GOT ANYWAY.

GRATITUDE
Be grateful for times that are spent clinging to what can’t be held, as it will teach you to surrender to what is.
Be thankful for the times that force you to look at what is wrong with your life because it will open up enough space to help you see all that is right with your life.
Be thankful for all the setbacks and failures you endure since great accomplishments take practice, practice, and more practice.
Be grateful for the times you are stuck and struggling in life because it reminds you that you can do whatever you set your mind to do, but you must first set your mind to do it.
Be thankful to accept things that we cannot change because it teaches us to yield and let go.
Be grateful for the things you covet for it helps you to recognize that you really do have exactly what you need.
Be grateful when you are at a loss of words for it gives you an opportunity to learn new ways, new beliefs, and new ideas.
Be thankful for your limitations, as they will motivate you to come up with new, innovative ways to approach things differently.
Be grateful for your mistakes and challenges because they help you build strength, character, and teach you valuable lessons.
Most of all, be grateful for the difficulties in your life, they help you grow into your best self. Troubles turn into blessings and pain turns into power. GRATITUDE enriches our lives and makes us wealthy in ways far beyond what money can buy. – Pam Kruger

“Turning adversity to opportunity
COMING SOON”
That makes me smile. Not there yet, but expectant. Great attitude message, even before the message exists.
Great photo also.
